Warehouse Associate

JOB OVERVIEW:

Associate will perform variety of warehouse, sample room duties, including shipping, receiving, unloading, loading, pickups, deliveries, inventory related functions, and special requests/projects. The Associate is expected to conduct tasks with speed and accuracy. The Associate will have a team-player mentality, while maintaining a safe and a positive work environment and comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pick/pull orders, quality check for defects, damages, verify item packaging, markings 
  • Understand order, shipping requirements, other given instructions 
  • Use correct size packaging and packing material to pack all samples
  • Perform inventory functions as assigned 
  • Load/unload vehicles and trucks
  • Pick-up/drop-off
  • Conduct tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Respond to all requests, emails in timely manager
  • Ensure cleanliness, tidiness and follow safety codes
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years warehouse experience
  • Stand-up forklift experience preferable 
  • Experience in use of tools, hand trucks, manual pallet jacks, one man lift preferable
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Physically strong, agile, undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions
  • Be able to work in a challenging environment with changing priorities 
  • May require bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, while practicing proper safety procedures.
  • Be able to lift, move up to 50 lbs. 
  • Accuracy and diligence are required in performing all functions of the position
  • Demonstrate effective communication and people skills, with peers and all levels of Management 
  • Maintain solid attendance. After hours, weekends may be required to meet project deadlines
  • Possess good attitude and moral character
